Wedding Breakfast
The Wedding Breakfast is a set package and you MUST choose the same Starter, Main Course and Dessert for each guest. The only exception being vegetarians and guests with special dietary requirements.
Starters

Choice of freshly made soup served with home-baked roll & butter
Field mushroom and pernod, potato and watercress, leek and potato, tomato and herb, market vegetable and herb or minestrone with cheese croutons
Tomato and welsh goats cheese salad with a balsamic and roasted shallot dressing
A panache of honeydew and ogen melon spiked with fresh mint from the garden
Homemade pate with cranberry chutney and crisp bread
Atlantic prawns and spring onion bound in grain mustard served on dressed salad leaves
A dice of avocado and crispy bacon with grain mustard dressed salad
Poached chicken and honey roasted ham bound in tarragon mayonnaise served with rocket leaves
Marinated fish salad with garlic and lemon croustades

Please choose one main course from the Wedding Breakfast package of your choice along with one starter and one dessert. All main courses are served with a medley of seasonal vegetables.

Poached chicken breast with a creamy leek sauce and risolee potatoes
Fillet of salmon lightly steamed with prawn and chive sauce
Roasted loin of pork with sage and onion stuffing and thyme gravy

Corn Du

Turkey escalope marinated in brandy and sage served with a light port gravy
Roasted welsh lamb with rosemary scented gravy and roast potatoes
Haddock fillet baked in the oven and complimented by a cockle and laverbread sauce

Pen y Fan

Duck breast roasted with honey and cinnamon served with a red wine, shallot and oyster mushroom sauce.
Roast sirloin of beef with yorkshire pudding and rich meat gravy
Lightly baked sea bass with fried vegetable and chervil butter

Roasted pork loin with risolee potatoes served with seasonal vegetables

Evening Finger Buffets
These finger buffets are NOT suitable for the main wedding breakfast. It is a condition of booking that, if an evening party is being held, a buffet MUST be ordered for the total number of guests attending the evening reception.
Ploughmans

Crusty bread served with a selection of welsh cheeses, meat platters, pate, pickles and chutneys, dressed tomatoes, crudités with dips, crisp.

Carreg Cennen

Selection of sandwiches (traditional and open)
Savoury sausage rolls
Assorted vol au vents
Selection of cocktail items
Peanuts, crisp & pickled onions
Also choose 1 item from each of the following choices:
Fish goujons /or scampi pieces served with tartar sauce
BBQ chicken wings /or chicken goujons
Spicy wedge fries /or French bread pizza

Carreg Cennen 'Deluxe'

As Carreg Cennen finger buffet with the addition of:
Filo parcels (choose either fish, meat /or a combination)
Chicken satay with peanut sauce /or mini chicken kebabs
Seasonal fruit platter

The vegetarian options below can be substituted for any of the items on the menus above.
