Banqueting Manager - circa £18,000

35-40 Hours a per week on a rotational shift pattern; although you will be required to work most weekends.

Your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to:

  • Oversee variety of functions and restaurant service on a day to day basis
  • Ensure rooms are configured in a timely manner for forthcoming events
  • Liaise with Wedding Coordinator regarding forthcoming events
  • Act as the master of Ceremonies at weddings and functions
  • Experience of public speaking would be preferred; however, full training will be provided
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for events
  • Optimise staff resources
  • Ensure staff perform tasks adequately and adhere to company policy
  • Resolve interpersonal and staff issues
  • Ensure customers are provided with first class service
  • Resolve any customer issues
  • Deal with customer enquiries including functions and weddings
  • Ensure that any Maintenance issues are resolved
